Women On Target

Recently, I took my son to a two day class so he could earn his rifle and shotgun Merit Badges for Boy Scouts.
While we were there, I was able to spend some time doing my own target practicing. My instructor told me about Women On Target, and I got very excited to learn more, so I looked it up and thought I should share it with all of you.

Women On Target®Instructional Shooting Clinics are a NRA program that create more opportunities for women to learn all about firearms, and to gain confidence in newly-acquired shooting skills.
  • Learn safe firearms handling
  • Learn how to store your firearms safely
  • Learn to shoot
  • Learn a sport you'll enjoy for a lifetime
To find a program near you, visit the website. http://women.nra.org/womens-instructional-shooting-clinics/find-a-clinic-near-you.aspx

As a woman and a mother, I feel it is very important that I be able to defend myself. Knowing how to safely handle a gun, and be accurate with it is vital in order for me to do so.

Hope to see you on the range. 'Til next time, Survivalist Jaclynn is signing off.
